I traded messages with Deborah Moore today, who founded "Fun Crowd" a Vineyard based singles organization who is looking to branch out. There is more information below, for those of you who are interested.

‘Fun Crowd’ - an easy way for Cape & Islanders to simply have a good time.

Fun Crowd is for Cape and Islanders who are unattached and proactive. To attend an event or to get more details on an event, call Deb Moore @ 508-645-2602 or e-mail her at deborahm@qldlearning.com. Put "Fun Crowd" in the subject of your e-mail. If you want to automatically receive invitations to all Fun Crowd events, please say so in your e-mail. Here is what is happening in the next two weeks.

Saturday, Oct 7th. 11am - 2pm. Sail the "Alabama", a Tall Ship based in the Vineyard Haven harbor. Live music included! $47.50 per person. Bring friends and family to this one. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.

Saturday, Oct 14th. 12pm - 3pm Kayaking (kayak rentals available) for all ability levels followed by food and drinks at Lola's... Or bring your life jacket and go straight to Lola's at 3:30p.m.

Sunday, Oct 15th. Bike from 3 miles to 30 miles on Vineyard bike paths. Finish up with food and drink and live Jazz at Offshore Ale. Biking begins at noon at the Ocean Park Gazebo in Oak Bluffs. Offshore Ale gathering begins at 2p.m.
